Members!  Tea & Auction Updates!

All auction items that are finished can be turned in at CEC through Friday, November 4th!

Additional auction items can be turned in at the City Center at 11:30 am on Sunday, November 6th!

Table decorating will begin Sunday morning at 11:30 am at the City Center!

Member volunteers are needed to set up displays of auction items!  We begin at 11:30 am!

All members are asked to bring a sweet or savory treat to be enjoyed with our tea!

Tea & Auction Updates

Members are busy preparing for our Annual Tea & Auction!

Updates:

• Auction items can be dropped off early at CEC.  Friday, November 4th will be the last day to do so.  We really encourage early drop off for Silent Auction items as we will need to create individual forms.
• Auction items can be delivered on November 6th (day of the auction) from 11:00 - noon at the Cordova Center.
• We need additional volunteers to decorate tables, please call Valerie Covel (406-551-5708 or 424-7469) if you are willing to sponsor a table.
• Tables will be available for decorating at 11:00 am.  Tables will be set for 8 guests.  Please include cup/saucer or mugs, snack plates, sugar/creamer containers, napkins, and one or two teapots.  
• All members are asked to supply a sweet or savory snack for the buffet.
• Member volunteers are also needed to assist with setting up and displaying both live and auction items.  We will begin setting up at 11:00 am.

A Potluck Dinner to wish Terry happiness in her new hometown of Juneau!  To be held at the LDS church on Thursday, September 15th at 6:00 pm!

Annual Tea and Auction

Valerie has graciously volunteered to chair our annual fundraising event!  We will be holding a membership meeting on Sunday, at 2:00 pm during QA to make plans and decisions about the tea!  We really need all members on deck to fund our scholarships and guild education goals!

Time to Sew - August & September

Summer is in full swing ... and fall has already encroached itself into our lives!  With 20+ inches of rain in August, members have been busy sewing!

Marianne's first Joy mini has been quilted and bound!

And the second one is pieced!

She made a project bag for her wool appliqué projects!

She finished piecing this Tula Pink color wheel!

Pieced this top and had left over fabric ...

... so she pieced the backing too!

A friend is adopting two little girls.

Marianne made a quilt for each new sister!

How does she manage to get all this done?

By making a super cute cover for her planner!

All of this piecing means that her Leader & Ender project has been growing!

It is about to be pieced together!  So inspiring!

Neva celebrated a finish by working on the binding!  She is ready for the holidays!
