Annual Tea & Auction Update!

The NWQG Annual Tea & Auction is our primary fundraiser each year, with proceeds going towards the scholarships we sponsor!

Chairperson Renee' and her committee have been busy making plans for what is sure to be another successful event!  The Tea will be held at the Masonic Temple on Sunday, November 27th at 2:00 pm.

As usual, members have been busy making items that will be auctioned!  Donations have already begun!
Second generation guild member, Amber, pieced and handquilted this wall quilt for the auction!  It is stunning...so nice of her to share her talent!
First generation guild member, Amber's mom Denise... hiding behind her donation... ;-) ...made this beautiful baby quilt!  What a terrific and generous Mother/Daughter team!  Thanks Ladies!

Auction items can be dropped off to Dawn at CWC, Diane at CEC and Cece at PWSAC.  It is always fun to see what members have made!

Remember those 2 inch batik strips you donated?  Valerie and her committee have been busy making a large sized quilt out of them.  It is to be auctioned off as well!

The Auction committee is asking members to volunteer to decorate a table or two...as always, we expect a full house!  Please call Renee' at  5416 to see how you can help out with this huge event!

Introducing a New Guild Opportunity!
Our members have been invited to participate in Thimbleberries 2012 Quilt Club!  Directly from Lynette Jensen's Studio Store!  Sew exciting!  Project choices and fabric samples will be on display at the meeting!  Make sure to check it out on Thursday...it promises to be a ton of fun!

Let's Hunker Down & Quilt!

We can't think of anything better to do this weekend than to sit in front of our sewing machines ... with all our quilting buddies doing the same .... and working on a project that makes us happy!  Life is good in Cordova!

The fun begins at 5:00 pm tonight ... Masonic Temple ... until 10:00 pm!

The party continues Saturday at 10:00 am!

Many guild members plan on working on items for our Annual Tea & Auction!  Bring any and all projects you've been working on over the summer months!  Sharing what you've done, inspires us all!

Special thanks to NVE, for again allowing us to use their facility free of charge.  This is our first Time to Sew since last spring ... lets get the party started!
