August Time to Sew & Fall Retreat Update!

Our members are amazing!  Every month their projects are so diverse ... and sew inspiring!
Early in the day Barb was busy working on a stained glass creation!
She also shared this recently finished table topper!
Angela was busy starting a Lucky Star quilt with fabrics her daughter picked out!  Such fun!
Angela and Diane U. shared a recent finish!  Diane U. has gotten herself a long arm and this is her first custom quilting done for Angela's Lone Star!
They were both sew excited about their collaboration ... and we were all impressed!  Simply wonderful!
Diane was busy paper piecing!
The borders for her Glacier Pines quilt are in progress!  Her top will soon be finished!
Lila brought in a couple of finishes as well!  A Quiltworx top ...
... she worked on the binding all afternoon.
Another Quiltworx finish for Lila!
Debra worked on making mittens from recycled sweaters!  Such fun!
Later she made a lot of progress on her Popsicle quilt!
Sam was on a mission ...
... she is making pillow cases ...
... for the tenants in our local nursing home!
Darlene worked on a wedding quilt ... beautiful purples!
She also shared a Lucky Stars top she recently made that included many fabrics from Turkey.
Terry made great progress on Halloween themed wall quilts!  They are adorable!
Valerie finished the blocks for her black and white version of Bonnie Hunter's Blue Ridge Beauty!
We all helped her celebrate the quilt and her empty project box!  Whoot!  Whoot!

Fall Retreat is just over a month away!  Jill allowed us to extend the enrollment ... even with that addition there are only 2 spots left!  If you want to participate ... do not delay!  The blog will have an update later this week that will include a supply list along with some homework to be completed before class begins!

A cheerful poppy quilt that Barb also worked on Saturday!  Thanks Barb for organizing these monthly events!
