December Time to Sew Event!

The guild, in all their wisdom, has scheduled a two-day Time to Sew Event for this very weekend!  A chance for us to work on Holiday gifts!  Brilliant!

Marcela will be opening the Home Ec room at 9:30 am both December 14 & 15th!  Bring your projects!  Make progress!

Santa and his elves have nothing on us!

Fall Retreat Fun!

Members had made their turkeys on Thanksgiving Day!  It was time to close their kitchens down, leave leftovers for their families, and come to Fall Retreat to SEW!

Quilting Fun
Mission accomplished for new member Sarah!

Marcela always accomplishes so much at these events! Sew inspiring!

Tory was busy making pillow cases and began a new project!

Denna shared a recent finish and made great progress on her second quilt from our Kimberly Einmo summer event!

Angela spent time peacefully piecing a beautiful quilt.  Stay tuned ... it is a beauty!
Sam loves working on gifts!  She made two sets of placemats!

Sweet Anna attended her first guild event!  We were so happy she invited her mother, Emma, along!

Shannon came with a Holiday mission!  She went home yesterday with her mission accomplished!

Diane's grandson is one lucky 5 year old!

Kelsey brought in a quilt that she had pieced in high school, ten years ago.
For her 30th birthday, her mother, Diane, quilted and bound it for her!  Lovely in every possible way!
Amber made great progress on her Tula Pink inspired quilt top, Lone Starburst!

Kay also worked on her Starburst!  We all loved the darker background!
This is the only picture I got of Susie, and she is hiding behind this beautiful panel she shared with us!  Sorry Susie ... next time I will take tons of pics of you!

Breakout Sessions
Jackie taught several of us how to make cozy carriers for our small and large irons!
She had worked out all the details for us in advance!
Denna made two!  One of each size!
Thanks to Jackie, our irons will not only be safe and secure, but they will travel in super cute containers as well!
Kay lead a session on the importance of labeling our quilts.  She shared many different techniques!  Thanks Kay!

Friendship
Retreat is always about time to sew and making progress on projects.  The food is always great as well!  But most important in the fellowship we share with one another!

With Gratitude
It is with an abundance of gratitude we thank Jackie and her committee for making all the fun we had possible!  Many of us have chaired or worked on similar events, so we know how much time and effort is involved!
