Guild News!
It is an exciting time for Cordova's Northwind Quilters! Let's begin with yesterday's "Time to Sew" event!
Terry B. came with another inspiring finish ... her Bargello is all pieced! Wow! It is stunning!
She also arrived with about half of her Block of the Month pieced together...
...by the end of the day...the top was finished! It is beautiful ... all that remains are the borders! What progress Terry! What lovely quilts!
Barb brought a kit with her and left with this completed bag! It turned out beautifully!
After her hand bag was finished, she made progress on her stack and whack blocks!
The Accuquilter was put to good use as well!
Quarterly Membership Meeting
We will be holding our quarterly membership meeting Saturday, March 23rd at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Homeport Coffee Shop. Members are encouraged to bring projects that are in progress or finished! This will be a great opportunity to take care of some business and catch up with one another. See you there! If you have questions, contact President Sara at 424.5787!

Time to Sew - 2.16.13
Wow! Did we have fun!
Terry has been busy! She took the Log Cabin class last weekend and finished this wall hanging during the week!
She also finished piecing her Valdez Mystery!
She knocked our socks off with the progress she has made on her Bargello!
Look at the progress she made today! So inspiring!
Barb was busy working on a "Stack and Whack" quilt!
They are beautiful!
Sam was busy making gifts ... a handbag ...
... and several pillowcases!
She and her mother, Barbara, also cut out a new quilt! What a busy pair!
Cece shared her recent Popsicle quilt top! Made with a Bali Pop ... too cute!
Layering and pin basting done!
Cece spent the rest of the afternoon working on a mystery quilt ... even in pieces, it looks amazing!
New member JoAnn came and worked on her log cabin blocks! She made great progress!
Valerie was busy putting binding on a couple of finishes! Always a reason to celebrate! Her Hunter's Star is stunning!
Here she is with her Cathedral Star quilt ... brings back fond memories of our class with Bonnie Hunter!
We were all impressed with the machine quilting by the long arm quilter! Two finishes for Valerie, we all celebrated with her!
Next Valerie took her Fig Tree scraps and began another quilt! What fun!
It was so enjoyable to spend the day catching up with one another! Seeing the work of friends is always sew inspiring! What a great way to spend the day!
