We're celebrating spring with our annual 

Cordova NWQG Spring Retreat!

When:        April 22 - 24th

Where:       High School Home Ec Room    

Fee:            $10 to be paid at the event

Mystery Quilt Option!

Adding to the fun, members will have the option to participate in a Mystery Quilt!  We haven't hosted a mystery in years!  They really are a ton of fun!  We each choose fabric without knowing what we are making!  We receive clues that have us piece units without knowing how they will be used! Sew crazy!  And sew very fun! In the end we will have each made the same quilt! Click the links below to get more information about this fun retreat option!

About the Mystery Quilt

Mystery Quilt Cutting Instructions

Members can participate in the Mystery Quilt as well as work on their own individual projects.  If you plan to participate in the Mystery, please come with the cutting all done.  The first clue will be released Friday at 7 pm and you will want to be ready to sew! 

Swap Table and Door Prizes

Many quilt related treasures are found on our swap table!  All members are encouraged to donate and shop!

Door Prizes galore!  We can never have too many!  Whoot!  Whoot!

Schedule of Events

Friday, April 22 

• 6:00 pm - doors open!
• Taco Bar Dinner!  Guild will provide beef & chicken filling and cheese.  Members are asked to bring additional taco toppings, shells and other goodies!
• 7:00 pm - we receive our first Mystery Clue!
• 8:00 pm - Mystery Clue #2
• Sew!

Saturday, April 23

• 9:00 am - doors open!  Coffee and Tea available!
• 10:00 am - Mystery Clue #3
• Lunch - Leftovers or on your own
• 1:00 pm - Mystery Clue #4
• 5:00 pm - Mystery Clue #5
• 6:00 pm - Dinner!  Provided by the guild!
• Sew!

Sunday, April 24

• 9:00 am - doors open!  Coffee and Tea available!
• 11:00 am - Mystery Clue #6
• Lunch - Leftovers or on your own
• 1:00 pm - Mystery Solved! 
• 4:00 pm - Clean Up begins!
