Christmas in August Event
Our Christmas sewing event was held the first Saturday this month!
Marcela organized the event! She began the day by starting a new quilt!
Before long she had it pieced and layered!
And yes, by the end of day it was machine quilted!
Kay also layered this sweet wall quilt!
She also began hand quilting this cute Christmas quilt!
Barb layered a large quilt that she plans to machine quilt!
Next she began working on making surgical caps for a children's hospital! Such a good cause!
Shannon brightened the rainy day by bringing her project!
Barb was busy making a colorful banner for one of our local first grade teachers!
It was Marianne's last sewing event with us before she and her family move to the Lower 48.
Although most of her quilting had been packed, she had this Christmas project out and available for the day!
We had such fun! Everyone made progress on their projects! Thanks to Marcela for organizing this event!
