Lots of fun took place on Saturday, along with tons of inspiration!
Valerie shared her Trading Patches that was recently quilted!
She has also made great progress on this applique' quilt top!
She has also had fun with the "Block Heads" project! She is doing the 6 inch blocks ...
... and the 3 inch blocks! We were all impressed!
Barb was busy piecing blocks for a new quilt!
Sam was sewing gifts!
Marianne made multiple bags!
She also paper pieced a patriotic star!
Angela finished piecing this Winnie the Pooh baby quilt!
Kay and Kathleen dropped by to share a Quilt of Valor they recently finished!
Jackie brought some show and tell! She pieced this adorable Dr. Seuss quilt and embellished it with machine embroidery!
For this sweet quilt, she took nine patch blocks that she had pieced years ago, turned them into a disappearing nine patch!
In the alternating blocks, she machine embroidered Precious Moments Alphabet motifs! Sew very cute!
Along with three friends, she participated in this row by row mystery! Each person made their own version!
Jackie added machine embroidery embellishments to this quilt as well! Gorgeous results!
She also brought in an antique quilt top. It is all hand done!
The work of those who came before us is always the most inspiring! It is comforting to know that our quilts will out live us!
