We had a wonderful business meeting Saturday! We met at the Homeport! We celebrated the purchase of new AccuQuilter accessories, made decisions about Fall Retreat, explored By-Law changes, and formed plans for our Linus Project contribution!
The best part of the whole meeting was visiting with one another and Show & Tell!
Kim shared her recent quilt adventures! This is her first attempt at free motion quilting ... great job Kim!
Bali Pop wonderfulness!
A Grandmother's Flower Garden that Kim began piecing and quilting at the young age of 13!
Close up ... such a treasure that she plans to finish! We all fell in love with the 1960's pink!
Yellow Rose wall hanging that Barb recently finished!
An antique quilt that Barb found on the her family's farm. We discussed ways to save it from further damage.
We all loved the copper toned fabrics Darlene used in her Seasonal Table Runner. Gorgeous! Thanks to everyone for sharing ... it was very inspiring!
Special thanks to President Sara for organizing the meeting and choosing a new meeting location.

Thanks for sharing your projects and creativity. Nice work on your first free motion project, Kim! Did you do that on a long arm or a regular machine? I am just learning to do free motion on a new Janome sewing machine and know it is not that easy, but lots of fun.
