Holiday Bazaar Information

 

At our September Business Meeting, it was decided to have a table at the Holiday Bazaar for our annual fundraising event.

Members have been busy making items to sell at the Bazaar!  Items for sale can be turned in to Sam at the City Office or Jackie at her office in the NVE Tribal Family Services location.  Items need to be turned in by noon on Friday, December 5th.  We ask that you put a suggested price on the items you submit.  

We also need members to work our table during the Bazaar. In the column on the right, there is a link that enables members to sign up for one or more 2 hour shifts.  We need a minimum of two members to work each shift.  More for the Set-Up and Clean-Up shifts would be appreciated.  Please sign up to help when you can.

Guild Update!

It was decided at our business meeting in September that with our quilt show in October, we wouldn't host a Tea and Auction this year.  Instead we will have a table at the Cordova Holiday Bazaar December 5th & 6th!  The plan is for members to donate items to be sold during that time.  Large items will be accepted, but we're really encouraging small items such as table toppers, pillows, potholders, hanging towels, etc.  Items that we would normally have as part of our Silent Auction.

Jackie is sharing this free pattern with members ... it will be available this weekend for anyone who would like to make one or some Hanging Tea Towels!  Several members have towels available for members to use in making them for the Bazaar.
