Fall Retreat!

A month ago, we enjoyed our Annual Fall Retreat!

Marcela and her committee worked hard to add those special touches that make an event special!

Fall Retreat 2018!

Marcela and her committee have been hard at work creating a fun and productive Fall Retreat!  Here are the details!

A Loose Ends Event

Date & Time

Friday, October 26th         6:30 - 10:00 pm
Saturday, October 27th     9:00 am - 10:00 pm
Sunday, October 28th       9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Registration &  Fee

Please fill out the form, so that we know how many to plan for!  You will find the link in the right margin!  The fee is explained on the Registration Form and will be due upon arrival.

Projects and Mini Sessions

A Loose Ends Event allows everyone to work on projects that are important to them!  It is always fun and inspiring to see what members are making!

The committee has also planned a couple of Mini Sessions for those who would like to participate!

On Saturday, Amber will lead us in creating this beautiful 20" square pillow!  The pattern is Lloyd & Lola Llama by Elizabeth Hartman.  The PDF pattern can be purchased here!  It will include the list of supplies necessary!  Please print your pattern and bring them with you to retreat!  Amber will have lots of tips that will allow us to easily create our own version!

On Sunday, Amber and Marcela will lead us in creating a super cute coaster/votive candle mat!  The PDF pattern can be downloaded free here!  What fun!

Swap Table

Ever popular with our members, there will again be a Swap Table!  Members are encouraged to bring quilting supplies that they may no longer need or use but are still of value!

Snacks and Catered Meals

As always, members are encouraged to make snacks and treats to be enjoyed by all!  On Friday night, Potato Soup will be provided as a main dish for the evening!  A late lunch/early dinner of Pizza and Salad will be served on Saturday!

Cancellation!

There will not be a Time to Sew event on October 20th as we will be hosting our annual Fall Retreat the following weekend, October 26-28th. 

Details concerning Retreat will be posted soon!

September Time to Sew!

It is always impressive to see how much members accomplish during our Time to Sew events!

Members love using the large counter in the Home Ec room to cut out new projects!  Barb and Angela were busy at our August event doing just that!

It took most of the day, but Angela cut out a large quilt ... she is ready to go!

Marcela also cut out an entire quilt!

And made great progress on her piecing!

Sam finished a baby quilt!

Tori began a project to organize her scraps!  She is making baskets from scraps, for scraps, by color!  Wrap your head around that quilt project!  Amazing!  We're all excited for this project!
