Quilter's Anonymous Resumes!
Members come to QA with a mission ... they often arrive with multiple projects! That level of enthusiasm and optimism is infectious!
Sam finished the pieced borders on this ongoing project!
Later she made progress on another long-term and challenging project! Approaching a project of this scope means taking it one step at a time.
Diane arrived with a new project ... it will be amazing! She spent time getting it organized and began cutting! What fun we will all have watching it evolve!
Dena finished hand sewing the binding on a beautiful quilt. We can't show the front at this time, as it is a gift! We all got to celebrate her finish with her!
Angela came with a beautiful selection of flannels ... she immediately cut it into squares!
She layered and quilted the squares ... and before we knew it ... she had them pieced into a top and was clipping the seam allowance! This will be a beautiful rag quilt!
When it was time to leave for the day, she had it done! It is ready to be washed, dried and given to a special little baby girl!
It is such fun to cheer one another on as we all make progress on projects! It is great to socialize, talk of upcoming guild events, and share our quilting goals all while doing what we love! QA is a win/win experience!
