One of the wonderful features about our Time to Sew events is the anticipation of what members will bring to show and share. We never fail to inspire one another!
Barb has been especially busy ... working away at getting things done!
She blew our socks off with three finishes! All mouths fell open when she unfolded this Quiltworx quilt!
And look at the amazing quilting! Wowser!
This was a scrap quilt she worked at piecing during retreat.
And her third finish is the scrap happy log cabin! We were so inspired by her accomplishments! Wonderful work!
Valerie and Sam were busy making tote and travel bags!
Sam is famous locally for her themed tote bags, and many members are lucky recipients of her talent. She personalizes each one by choosing fabrics that reflect the person she is making it for!
And she always makes them reversible! Such fun!
Sam was also celebrating this recent finish!
Marianne was busy working on a traditional wedding ring. It is paper pieced and she is using fabric that is 30's themed.
She recently finished this amazing top, scrapped up with more 30's fabric! Wonderful!
During the afternoon, she pieced this month's block for the Fat Quarter Shop's "Snapshot" sew-a-long!
We all enjoyed how Marianne personalized her block by adding a stem on the cherry! Too cute!
Diane was busy putting binding on a quilt! Finishes always feel great!
Neva pulled out some squares from a guild fabric exchange and made great piecing progress!
Terry shared a baby quilt that she recently finished! Sew fun and cheerful
She recently finished paper piecing the sewing themed blocks she has been working on!
She began piecing them into a wall quilt by placing a narrow black border around each block.
By the end of the day, her top was finished! She has plans for embellishments that will bring this top to life in a very special way! We all look forward to seeing the results!
Another inspiring and productive day!
