After all the dark and dreary weather ... members were excited to get together and sew this month!
These two were busy beginning new projects!
Diane made great progress on this BOM ... January's block was nearly finished by the end of the day!
She has also been very busy piecing together this beautiful McKenna Ryan quilt. The blocks were fused by others and Diane did the piecing and will quilt it! Gorgeous! It is a gift for a friend that recently retired! What a treasure!
Sam spent the day cutting out a quilt that will eventually be a wedding gift! The colors are wonderful, we all look forward to watching her progress! Our Accu Quilter really helped cut this out in a matter of hours!
Barb was busy working on a Quiltworx project that she had put aside.
The techniques required came back to her quickly and she was able to get a lot done!
Valerie was busy working on a Thimbleberries kit!
She also received her "Secret Santa" gift from Terry. Valerie loves curved piecing, so Terry used that technique in the table runner! Beautiful! Valerie also shared the Seasonal Table Runners she recently received back from a professional quilter!
Darlene was busy piecing a quilt for her new grandson!
It is an "I Spy" quilt ... and she plans to include family photos! Wonderful idea!
She also shared a quilt that she recently completed! It is a gift for relatives ... beautiful!
Welcome Mary Ann! She is new to our community and joined our guild! It was so fun to get to know her!
Mary Ann was busy making blocks from Civil War fabrics!
Such fun to see her blocks laid out ... a wonderful quilt in the making!
Terry knockedour socks off the rotary cutters out of our hands with all that she has accomplished in the past month!
Three beautiful blueberry table toppers!
She finished piecing not just one ...
... but two sampler quilts! They are both stunning!
She also made great progress on her Glacier Star! We all agree that Terry is making retirement look very tempting! ;-)
We had such fun and accomplished a lot! We are all looking forward to being together again in February!
