February Time to Sew Fun!

Barb knocked our socks off with her current finishes!  Her king-sized Trading Patches quilt is stunning!
Scrap quilts are the best, but those with scrappy backings are even better!  Too fun!
Barb is ready for spring with her poppy table runner!
This is the mystery quilt for the 2016 Valdez Festival.  Beautiful!
Every mouth in the room dropped open when she unfolded this beautiful sampler!  Gorgeous!
Barb and her next project in progress!  This one is filled with her polka dot collection.  Stay tuned!
Valerie shared her recent finish!  Beautiful!  Piecing and applique' is a winning combination!
She spent the day working on a January themed mini.
By the end of the day she had it finished!  So sweet!
Denna accomplished a lot!  She is elbow deep in a queen-sized quilt and making great progress.
Tori charmed us with her charm square quilt!  This quilt has a special purpose for a special friend.  It is filled with love!
Marianne has been busy with monochromatic scraps!  She recently finished piecing two!
Each for a very special little one in her life!  Scrappy Trips are such fun to piece!
Marianne also shared her Gingham Stars!  It was recently showcased by Sherri Falls on her blog!  You can see it here!
Lila also had a finish to share!  Such a beautiful holiday themed wall quilt!
Lila arrived with a dozen placemats pieced.  She made great progress quilting them!
Sam was busy too!  We can't share much as this is a surprise baby quilt for someone in our community!  Trust me, it is adorable!
She also made progress on this jelly roll project.  It uses a fun technique!
Having recently completed baby quilts for her twins, Angela has begun piecing a quilt for a friend's baby girl!  Another fun jelly roll pattern!
Four patches became a square in a square unit.
Wow!  By the end of the day, she had the top pieced!
As always, Shannon has been busy as well!  She sewed the binding on this beautiful quilt.
Finished the borders on this quilt top!
And then began piecing a quilt back with orphan blocks!
The backing she was working on is for this stunning king-sized top!  She is a busy newlywed making treasures for her home.

There is never a lack of inspiration at our sewing events!  Our guild members rock!

Quilter's Anonymous Fun!

Three days of snowfall does not prevent those addicted to quilting from meeting and sewing together!
Quilters trudged through 18 inches of snow to share their quilting accomplishments and snacks!  Breaking a trail through all this white stuff required the sponsor to set down her containers ahead as far as she could reach, trudge by and forward, turn and pick it up ... repeat until she made it to the door!  Proof indeed that we are addicted to our craft!  Too fun!
Arriving was an expedition that appeared to have energized everyone who attended!  Chelsea share a few finishes!
This mother of three has accomplished a lot, with wonderful results!
Sam started a new jelly roll project, everyone enjoyed watching her results unfold!
Diane was busy piecing the quilt that she cut out at our last meeting!
Marcela started a new quilt project!  We're all excited to see it come together!
Tory began a project for a very special friend in need of comfort.  She is using charm squares, precuts do so much to assist with a project's progress!
Shannon continued piecing blocks for a large quilt that is in progress!  Her spring colors helped us all ignore the snow outside!
Denna made great progress on her Row by Row mystery!  She is ready to applique!
Angela has been busy working on baby quilts for her 9 month old twins!
Last month she finished her daughter's and now her son's is finished as well!  Great accomplishment with beautiful results!
We welcomed our newest and currently only male member!  Meet Elias!
He spent the day supervising his momma ...
... which is exhausting!

Everyone accomplished so much!  We celebrated everyone's progress, enjoyed great snacks, and surrounded ourselves with encouragement!
