Hawaiian Designs Inspired Us All!

Keri Duke of Keri Designs was here in Cordova this weekend!  Those who attended her trunk show Saturday, enjoyed her humor and marveled at her designs!
Keri's designs are not limited to traditional Hawaiian quilting...she designs comtemporary Hawaiin quilts, needlepoint, cross-stitch and embroidery patterns.  Each and everyone stunning.
Keri was a joy to spend time with and made learning needlepoint and Hawaiian applique' fun!  Many members gave up the sunny weather to learn new skills!  She removed all the inhibitions that we felt and replaced it with confidence ... the sign of a great teacher!

It was fun to have a bit of show & tell ... we all got to enjoy this beautiful Cathedral Windows quilt in progress!   Beautiful!
Everyone who took Keri's classes learned a lot and have begun beautiful projects.  We are all so grateful to Dotty, from The Net Loft, for bringing her here!  It was a very inspiring weekend for all involved!
